Description
ReCon is seeking a Recruiter for a temporary 6-month assignment at our Sulphur, LA location. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume recruiting within the staffing industry.
Summary of Description:
The Human Resources Recruiter performs duties of recruiting and sourcing for ReCon and for clients of ReCon. This includes using online recruiting sources to source talent and working with Human Resources Supervision in developing effective recruiting strategies.
Duties:
- Leverages networking and online recruiting resources (social networks, professional organizations, trade groups) and uses applicant tracking system to identify and recruit the best candidates.
- Attracts, interviews, and confirms qualifications of applicant for all open positions.
- Works with Human Resources Supervision to develop, implement and determine effective recruiting strategies.
- Pre-screens candidates including creating pre-screening questions.
- Completes a preliminary interview of candidates, when requested, which could include the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.
- Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates including scheduling and logistics of interviews.
- Partners with Human Resources Supervision to make strategic hiring decisions.
- Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and other recruiting activities to ensure a compliant and thorough audit.
- Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), with additional specialized training or college course work and 0 - 5 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
