Supervises: Warehouseman
Primary Purpose: To oversee the warehouse functions assist the District Instructional Materials Coordinator/Records Management Officer Designee. To provide and maintain systematic plans for storage of textbooks and workbooks used by the district; to receive and inventory books allotted by the state and fill textbook and workbook orders from the schools, accuracy of receipts and deliveries is crucial. To oversee the returned surplus, out-of-adoption material, Tipweb inventory system, and verify that all warehouse duties are done with diligence.

- Computer Competency.
- Skills necessary to manage a warehouse and multi-task with remainder of the department
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Skills necessary to manage and perform the data input for the instructional materials inventory software.
- Work closely with district Instructional Materials Coordinator and Campus Coordinators to assist in managing the textbooks.
- Work closely with warehouseman to organize and have a clear warehouse auditing system in place.
- Organize and prepare spreadsheets and reports for the ability to have exact information regarding the warehouse materials ie: year of adoption, year of out-of-adoption, detailed information regarding the products.
- Approve and Deny campus inventory requisitions as needed with notes explaining the processes.
- Receive telephone from campus textbook coordinators and district departments regarding the availability of instructional materials.
- Maintain an inventory record with Tipweb to account for all products, lost, damaged, or otherwise.
- Work with warehouseman on the upkeep of the warehouse.
- Assist with deliveries and pick-ups at all locations.
- Report weekly to the District Instructional Materials Coordinator on goals and objectives to make sure that goals are being met.
- Maintain all files and records in accordance with T.E.A. and E.C.I.S.D. rules, regulations and policies.
