Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Patient Care: Provide empathetic support to individuals in various settings, ensuring their well-being and safety.
- Behavioral Support: Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to assist clients in achieving their recovery goals.
- Crisis Management: Utilize effective de-escalation techniques to manage crises and maintain a safe environment.
- Recreational Therapy: Lead and participate in weekend recreational activities, including fun events, conferences, seasonal outdoor activities, faith-based programming, crafts, cooking sessions, and guest speaker engagements.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient interactions and progress for ongoing evaluation and treatment planning.
- Med Observation: Observe and document clients accurately taking their medications.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in mental health and substance abuse recovery settings is preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of recovery principles, coping skills and crisis intervention techniques.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Personal Attributes: Compassionate, trustworthy, dependable, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Leadership: Ability to lead by example, fostering accountability and structure within the recovery process.
- Creativity: Enthusiastic about creating and leading engaging activities that support recovery and personal growth.

This position would be every Thursday and Friday (6am to 2:30am or 7am to 3:30) AND every other weekend Saturday and Sunday.
