Step into a dynamic role where your skills shape lives. As a Post Doctoral Psychology Resident, you’ll conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including competency, malingering, and risk evaluations, to guide impactful care decisions. You’ll provide individual and group treatment, collaborate with the treatment team, and offer vital employee education on psychological topics.
Additionally, you may oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of treatment and behavioral management plans, directly contributing to the well-being and progress of those served. Join us to make a difference through insight, compassion, and expertise!
Key Responsibilities
Provides Individual and Group TreatmentFacilitates competency groups, psycho-educational groups, therapy sessions, individual counseling, and competency restoration sessions.
Conducts Psychological AssessmentsPerforms assessments such as competency evaluations, risk assessments, and malingering assessments.
Writes Court Reports and Provides Expert TestimonyPrepares court reports and provides expert testimony when required.
Develops and Implements Treatment PlansCreates, monitors, and oversees treatment plans and behavioral management plans.
Guides and Trains Interns and StaffAssists with training psychology interns and provides education and guidance to the clinical team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
- Required: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an accredited university with dissertation completed.
Experience:
- Required: One (1) year psychology internship completed.
- Required: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
