We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team and serve the Annandale, VA location.
Position Overview:
This is a remote position requiring travel within the DC Metro Area to meet potential clients, referral partners, and key stakeholders. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships that drive the growth of Recovery Unplugged. You will help expand our reach in the region, establish strategic partnerships, and support the overall business development strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and research new potential clients and referral partners in the DC Metro area.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client and partner relationships.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze local customer and competitor data to identify new opportunities.
- Presentations: Conduct presentations to prospective clients, as well as to internal company leadership.
- Pipeline Management: Track and identify qualified prospects, and manage the business development pipeline.
- Strategic Partnerships: Develop and manage partnerships that contribute to the business’s growth.
- Progress Tracking: Regularly track, report, and analyze the status of business development initiatives.
- Market Research: Conduct ongoing research and market analysis in the assigned region to drive strategic decisions.
- End-to-End Business Development: Oversee and drive the complete business development process for the assigned territory.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: At least two (2) years of successful business development experience. Experience in the substance abuse or mental health treatment industry is preferred but not required.
- Travel: Ability to travel within the DC Metro area (a valid driver’s license is required).
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to give clear and compelling presentations.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams while maintaining individual accountability.
- Positive Attitude: A passion for helping individuals with substance abuse and/or mental health challenges.
- Results-Oriented: Proven ability to meet or exceed business development goals and expectations.
