Responsibilities:
The person filling this position will apply excellent interpersonal communication skills to interact with management and support staff, as well as therapists. This person will lead and mentor less experienced employees, to include offering on-the-job training and guidance.- Duties may include special projects and assignments as needed by members of the management team
- Processing bi-weekly payroll through Paylocity as well as annual reporting requirements
- Must attend Management Meetings and provide input when needed.
- Research and stay updated on Employment Laws.
- Keeping the Employee Handbook updated.
- Responsible to process updates to policies and job descriptions, store on OneDrive, after annual reviews by management and approval of CEO.
- Managing the Benefits package offerings
- Administering the new hire and annual open enrollment process for insurance. Duties will include managing virtual open enrollment in Employee Navigator, pulling reports and entering data for insurance carriers/broker, and receiving additional documentation for life events enrollment.
- CARF tracking and meeting with surveyors.
- Tracking drug screen results for EAP/ random screens for all staff.
- Keeping courses up-to-date and compliant in LMS per CARF standard
- Processing unemployment claims
- Tracking/ Administering FMLA leave
- Administering/Maintaining retirement (403b) program
- Tracking performance management
- Collaborates in maintaining clean, safe workplace, including maintenance of CPR/First Aid skills and aggressive client management skills.
- Training and supervising administrative assistant
- Oversee safety program
- Must be able to complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements for Human Resources
Associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, or another related field is preferred. In lieu of college degree, a high school diploma/GED and 3 years applicable experience is acceptable.- Four years’ experience supporting multiple managers is preferred.
- Must have excellent administrative/organizational skills.
- Must have experience with all MS Office products, specifically excel and word. Computer expertise required as relates to Paylocity, Payroll, Carelogic, training management, etc.
- Must have the demonstrated ability to work independently and to make decisions requiring applications of judgment that are not routine, based on knowledge of policies, procedures, and operating practices.
- Must be able to handle sensitive information in an extremely confidential manner.
- Must be able to handle with professionalism the hard conversations of exit interviews, personality conflicts, health issues, etc.
- Must be able to explain policies clearly to all staff.
- Must have the ability to address and resolve routine matters independently.
- Must greet visitors and customers in a professional manner.
- Must be able to communicate executive decisions and instructions.
- Must show attention to detail and the ability to consistently complete complex tasks independently.
- Must be a team contributor who is highly responsive to the day-to-day needs of management and the organization; must establish and maintain good working relationships with the Management Team, co-workers and other employees of Recovery and Wellness Centers of Midwest Ohio.
- Must be tactful and professional in all verbal and written communications, both internally and externally.
- Located at the main office on Walnut, but willing to travel frequently to the other offices.
