Job Summary: Work independently while also functioning collaboratively as a member of a care team including medical providers, mental health counselors, peers and community partners as needed, to provide outstanding counselling services to IOP patients.

Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing effective treatment plans tailored to clients' needs.
- Conducting individual and group counseling sessions for clients participating in the Men’s IOP
- Providing psychoeducation on substance abuse and recovery strategies.
- Facilitating and effectively utilizing evidence-based practices in individual and group counseling settings.
- Completing comprehensive assessments of client's substance use history, providing appropriate diagnosis and level of care placement when necessary, and preparing individualized developmentally appropriate treatment plans based on ASAM criteria.
- Providing case management/coordination of care.
- Providing referrals as needed and documentation of treatment progress
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care.
Education and Experience:
- CADC I or higher required. CADCII preferred.
- Two years of experience as a CADC highly preferred.
- Knowledge of trauma informed care/practices.
- Knowledge and experience facilitating group therapy.
- Knowledge of evidenced-based counseling theories and practices (MI, DBT, ACT, CBT etc.)
- Associate’s degree in Substance Use Counseling or Human Services Requires. Bachelors Degree preferred
