Position Summary
Service/ BHRN Navigators work to seamlessly integrate Recovery Works NW into the external environments within which we operate. These team members serve a marketing and outreach role by building and managing relationships with individuals and organizations relevant to our mission and operations. Their internal customers include direct care providers such as physicians, counselors, therapists, case managers, and peers, for whom they facilitate streamlined referral pathways to organizations that offer value to Recovery Works NW clients, whether within or ancillary to the substance use disorder (SUD) continuum of care. Service/ BHRN Navigators are responsible for managing relationships with organizations engaged with Recovery Works NW by memoranda of understanding (MOU) including those participating in Behavioral Health Resource Networks (BHRNs) in the regions that they represent.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create and strengthen relationships with individuals and organizations within assigned geographic regions that operate within the SUD continuum of care and those that offer ancillary services
- Meaningfully contribute to all BHRNs within assigned geographic region to which Recovery Works NW holds MOU, including, attending all events and conducting direct outreach to all BHRN member organizations
- Conduct outreach by site visits, phone calls, emails, and other means to identify and develop opportunities for partnership that will result in expanded operations, lower barriers to care, more options for Recovery Works clients and staff, and better outcomes for our clients
- Represent Recovery Works NW at events, conferences, stakeholder meetings, and presentations to external audiences
- Maintain Recovery Works NW’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, resources database, branded items inventory, and events calendar, among other assets
- Maintain Recovery Works NW marketing assets including social media channels, websites, printed materials, signs and displays, and others
- Keep internal Recovery Works NW audiences apprised of the most current services and external environment updates that affect their work
- Provide direct and billable case management/peer support services for Recovery Works NW clients
- Maintain and properly represent Recovery Works NW brand kit
- Facilitates collaborative relationships with individuals and clinical staff
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High School Degree or GED
- Current PSS, PWS and/or CRM certification
- Valid Oregon Driver’s License and the ability to be insured
- Inclusion in Oregon Traditional Health Worker (THW) Registry, active National Provider Identification (NPI) number and active Division of Medical Assistance Programs (DMAP) number or in process
- Competent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to learn other programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in the behavioral health or substance abuse industries preferred
