Perform a variety of functions to ensure that the golf pro-shop and its ancillary components are operated in an efficient and professional manner. This is an on-call position and requires flexibility to work at multiple Sun City West golf courses to cover for scheduled absences and last-minute changes to schedule.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness to include the ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness and pivot service as needed. Greet members and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Perform a variety of tasks to schedule, assign and announce tee times for customers.
- Use of proprietary software. Must be comfortable with computers in general and computerized transactions in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment.
- Significant cash transactions requiring the ability to handle paper and coin monies and count back change.
- Reconciliation of daily cash drawer prepare and process funds for deposit.
- Ability to promote product and handle sales transactions from start to finish.
- Knowledge of all aspects of the pro-shop environment including but not limited to golf fees, golf cart rentals, merchandise, food, and beverage concessions.
- Ability to explain course policies, procedures, and rules.
- Professional and efficient resolution handling complaints.
- Ability to multi-task during the work shift.
- Operates and cleans all food/beverage equipment in pro-shop and patio areas.
- Punctual attendance and follow time clock procedures per company policy.
- This position requires flexibility to be able to fill in for last-minute callouts and scheduled absences from other starters.
- Ability to work both as a team throughout the work shift and during some shifts, employee will be working alone.
- Must follow preventative maintenance guidelines regarding cart fleet.
- Possible janitorial duties in and around clubhouse and cart storage area.
- Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
- Any other duties as assigned
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Arizona driver's license and good driving record for insurance purposes.
You must obtain an AZ Food Handler’s card and AZ Liquor Law Training Certificate within 30 days of employment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Sufficient Training and education to demonstrate possession of required knowledge, skills and qualifications are required.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office and retail Point of Sale (POS) software
