POSITION TITLE: CC & R CLERK LOCATION: CC & R
SHIFT/SCHEDULE: Part Time 20 to 25 hours a week with occasional evening appointments
WORK DESCRIPTION:
Assists CC&R Lead in overseeing architecture and environmental control policies and regulations as they relate to the Recreation Centers of Sun City West (RCSCW) Association Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) and its residents and property owners. Monitor and enforce a variety of applicable regulations related to land use, health and safety, blight, and other matters of concern to association members. Part time position with occasional evening hours.
WORK ACTIVITIES: Other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Perform routine clerical activities, screening and answer the telephone.
· Serve as a resource and provide information on RCSCW regulations to property owners, residents and committees.
- Enforce compliance with RCSCW regulations.
- Receive and respond to member complaints and violations of RCSCW CC&R’s.
- Occasionally patrol assigned areas in vehicle and conduct field investigations; inspect properties for violations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and case files on all investigations, inspections, enforcement actions.
- Monitor issues thru administrative procedures and verify and document all actions and correspondence in a database.
- Prepare a variety of daily, weekly, and monthly written reports, memos, and correspondence related to various department heads and enforcement activities including drawn diagrams/illustrations and photographs. Attend meetings to present reports.
- Accurately track and record complaints, inspection sites, and effective code enforcement in systems and provide data and/or trend analysis.
- Identify and document noncompliance issues, which may require using a vehicle, taking pictures and measuring landscape features and walls.
- Prepare and submit articles for publications.
- Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required
- Performs other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: There are no supervisor responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in compliance or code enforcement, inspection, and/or investigation preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to understand and follow procedures, policies and regulations.
- Ability to independently perform a full range of RCSCW enforcement and compliance duties.
- Proficiency in accurate documentation and record keeping.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced and results driven environment.
- Ability to meet all safety and physical requirements of the job.

- Close attention to detail.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED; or minimum 3 years of experience in public facing customer service, handling escalated concerns or equivalent combination of education and experience. Should have current experience in computers with Microsoft word/excel; basic filing and record keeping procedures, good typing, grammar, and English usage skills.
LANGUAGE/COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Maintain mental capacity which allows the capability of making sound decisions and demonstrating intellectual capabilities. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Arizona driver's license and good driving record for insurance purposes.
