The Power App Developer specializes in creating custom business solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role leverages their expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to develop applications, automate workflows, and provide actionable insights through data visualization.
Job Duties/Roles
- Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Automate business processes and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
- Create data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
- Provide technical support and training to users.
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Power Platform development
- Highly proficient in SQL
- Experience in the Azure suite, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills consistent with a client group, including senior managers & executives.
- Attentive to details
- Highly proficient in translating complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work with the data warehouse team to identify data dependencies and data requirements.
- Experience in writing DAX queries and functions.
- Ability to manage highly confidential material.
- Working knowledge of the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System.
Minimum years of Experience
Typically requires 5 or more years of experience in Power Apps Development.
Required/Preferred Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or a STEM field is preferred.
Required/Preferred Professional Requirements· Power BI Development experience required.
- Power App Development experience required
- Azure Data Fundamentals preferred.
- Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate preferred.
- Power App/Platform Analyst Associate and/or Certified Business Intelligence Professional preferred.
- Agile/Scrum Certifications preferred.
