In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Issuing and maintaining project schedules, factoring in task dependencies and resource allocation.
- Collaborating with supply chain, engineering, and production leadership to facilitate adherence to the project schedule.
- Coordinating project planning efforts while prioritizing tasks for efficient execution.
- Assisting in identifying project costs based on inputs from engineering and supply chain.
- Aligning with FAA regulations by working closely with the Certification Manager.
- Supporting project progress tracking and reporting to ensure visibility across departments.
- Performing other duties as assigned, including contributing to special projects directed by the Certification Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited university (relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree on a case-by-case basis).
- 3 (three) or more years of experience in project management or project engineering.
- Strong background of engineering in a regulatory environment within the aviation industry.
- Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 21 and Part 23.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and support multiple projects and priorities.
- High intellectual curiosity, creative thinking and problem-solving, and demonstrated initiative (preferred).
- Passion for aircraft, flying, and all things aviation (preferred).
