Are you ready to take on a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of renewable energy and private equity?
Our client, a rapidly growing renewable energy provider backed by a leading private equity firm specializing in mortgage securities, is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to steer their financial operations.
As the CFO, you will oversee all financial functions, including financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management. You'll also collaborate closely with the parent private equity firm on high-impact projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to guide strategic decisions.
- Implement robust internal controls and oversee potential changes in accounting systems.
- Manage investor relations and communications to ensure transparency and confidence.
- Partner with the private equity parent company on select financial projects to drive growth and profitability.
- Lead and manage all financial operations, including financial planning, accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management.
- Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and execute project finance strategies, manage fundraising initiatives, and analyze investment returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA
- CPA preferred.
- At least 7 years of senior-level finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and tax planning.
- Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Big 4 accounting firm and strong audit background is a must
- Occasional travel
- Experience in a fast-paced, growing firm building financial infrastructure is a plus.
- Passion or interest in renewable energy is a bonus!
