Innovative medical tech company specializing in non-invasive aesthetic treatments, committed to improving the lives of our customers with cutting-edge products. The client is seeking an experienced Jr. Accountant to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is a hybrid position, initially temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance and company requirements.
Temp - Perm Opportunity - hybrid schedule
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Accounts Receivable and collections.
- Process daily bank deposits and credit card payments, including payment application.
- Reconcile bank accounts daily and at month-end.
- Reconcile credit card statements and code to the appropriate accounts.
- Process Accounts Payable invoices and verify W-9 information for new vendors.
- Convert sales orders to invoices to ensure proper revenue recognition.
- Create Purchase Orders for AP invoices.
- Process bi-weekly Accounts Payable ACH runs and track invoice due dates.
- Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts for month-end closing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in AR and AP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
