As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we're looking for an experienced QUALITY TECHNICIAN - SECOND SHIFT.
The Quality Technician will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for torque click inspections and verifying fasteners are in place and in adherence to policy.
- Processes scrap for the facility.
- Completes audits in reference to CLI quality standards and GM requirements.
- Performs containment processes in event of quality defects.
- Other duties as required.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in quality, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Automotive experience is also preferred.
- Must have a mechanical aptitude in reference to measuring, gauging and inspection of parts.
- Must be well versed in error proofing.
- Must have excellent leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
- Must have excellent project management skills.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Must have a high level of motivation and attention to detail.
- Must have a high level of motivation and attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving ability and strong strategic thinking skills.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Experience with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
