As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we're looking for an experienced OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR who will be responsible for the following:
- Supervising VAA personnel (Sub-Assembly).
- Monitoring operation of VAA equipment and systems.
- Maintaining safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Coordinating activities with other departments.
- Implementing programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness.
- Managing the shipping and receiving systems.
- Assisting with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Insuring employees are building parts within the run-it- rate parameters
- Assists with training Material Movement Team Members.
- Plan, assign, and directs work.
- Rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Involved in Multi-disciplinary Five Phase Problem Solving Teams that directly drives the company's Continuous Improvement Process and Policies
- Responsible for On-the-Job Training. Ensures compliance with Comprehensive Dock Safety Procedures.
- Coordinates and monitors the contents of shipments that leave Comprehensive Logistics.
- This is a second shift position. M-F 2:30PM to 11:00PM with mandatory Saturday production.
