Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Sales Coordinator for our client in Columbia, SC that is one of the largest and most diversified steel producer and metal recycler in the US. They specialize in providing high-quality steel joists and decking solutions, offering efficient, cost-effective options for contractors, engineers, and owners in the construction and renovation industries. This is a direct hire opportunity with a Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm schedule.
The Sales Coordinator will support the sales department by managing and coordinating sales-related tasks, including receiving, analyzing, entering, and storing data for quotes and orders. The Sales Coordinator will collaborate with various departments, DSMs, customers, and other New Millennium locations to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Management:
- Enter and manage sales data in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and consistency in quotes and orders.
- Maintain and organize project files, quotes, and other documentation.
- Communication:
- Act as a liaison between customers, DSMs, and the sales team, ensuring clear and efficient communication.
- Provide timely updates on quotes, orders, and project statuses.
- Program Use:
- Work with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internal software systems like OIS and JEDI for sales and order management.
- Quote and Order Accuracy:
- Ensure quotes are accurate and aligned with customer requirements and company standards.
- General Administrative Support:
- Assist in filing and organizing sales and project-related documents.
- Support the sales team with other duties as needed to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid mathematical skills for accurate quote and order calculations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- A two-year degree or two years of office-related experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
