JOB TITLE: Executive Meeting Sales Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
As the Executive Meeting Sales Manager, you will provide administrative support through clerical duties, collecting and processing sensitive data (ie., financials, credit card information), resolving guest issues, performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence both internal and external, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings, meal appointments, and manage and maintain the schedules and workflow of Sales Executives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Prepare and edit correspondences, communications, presentations, contract formatting, redlines, and updating systems to reflect contract terms and negotiated room rates
Process reservations, expense reports, invoices, billing information for accounting, confirmations, cancellations, special handling alerts, show tickets, dining reservations, and amenities. Amenities could include but are not limited to site inspections, customer event weekends, and VIP stays
Arrange and coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and meal appointments within the property or outside travel
Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications via e-mail and phone in a timely manner
Provide guest service to internal employees, guests, and all customers of MGMRI
Perform other job-related duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Ability to read and write
Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
Must be grammatically proficient with a strong skill in creative writing
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal form
Understand and comply with all company, department, and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies and procedures
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift including weekends and holidays
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with team members
Ability to read and speak English
Must be at least 21 years of age
Obtain all required work cards
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second-hand smoke
Tasks performed from a sitting or non-sitting position
