We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Intern for our Indirect Team. An ideal candidate would be an experienced professional with a basic understanding of Supply Chain and data analysis. The candidate should also have a passion for working with Electric Vehicles. This is a rewarding experience to learn and network with industry leaders. Role/Responsibilities:
Learn all aspects of Indirect Purchasing and IT procurement processes as related to Indirect Supply Chain management.
Identify business improvements and drive process implementation and adoption by stakeholders
Manage and execute procurement activities for IT hardware, software, services, and indirect purchasing, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and budget constraints.
Support project initiatives across all Supply Chain functions providing analysis, coordination, implementation, formal reporting, and recommendations.
Establish appropriate KPIs (Key Project Indicators) to measure performance and develop dashboards for data visualization
Collaborate closely between suppliers and purchasing global supply managers
Participate in the overall procure to pay process that could include sourcing, prequalification, bidding, negotiating, and routing purchase requisitions for approval
Contribute to implementation of approved projects
At the end of the internship, the candidate will have the opportunity to present their findings and the impact of their work over the past three months. Make the most of this opportunity to create a real impact.
Qualifications:
Proactive team player, fast learner, result-oriented with ability to cope with a fast-paced and changing environment
Understanding of Supply chain
Proficient with data analysis and able to present facts based on statistics and numbers
Proficient with data visualization tools such as Tableau
Understanding of process optimization
Proven verbal and written communication skills and ability to present work
Ability and aptitude for analyzing problems through effective listening to provide solutions in a time sensitive environment
Nice to have:
Experience with requests for proposals
Knowledge of automotive supply chain operations
Understanding of sourcing, purchasing
Participation in supply chain programs geared towards sourcing and procurement
Education:
Field(s) of study: Supply Chain, or related fields
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university.
Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $26 - $38 per hour.
