Indirect and IT Purchasing Intern

We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Intern for our Indirect Team. An ideal candidate would
be an experienced professional with a basic understanding of Supply Chain and data analysis.
The candidate should also have a passion for working with Electric Vehicles. This is a rewarding

expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn

Role/Responsibilities:
● Learn all aspects of Indirect Purchasing and IT procurement processes as related to
Indirect Supply Chain management.
● Identify business improvements and drive process implementation and adoption by
stakeholders
● Manage and execute procurement activities for IT hardware, software, services, and
indirect purchasing, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and budget
constraints.
● Support project initiatives across all Supply Chain functions providing analysis,
coordination, implementation, formal reporting, and recommendations.
● Establish appropriate KPIs (Key Project Indicators) to measure performance and
develop dashboards for data visualization
● Collaborate closely between suppliers and purchasing global supply managers
● Participate in the overall procure to pay process that could include sourcing, ●
● Contribute to implementation of approved projects

Qualifications:
● Proactive team player, fast learner, result-oriented with ability to cope with a fast-paced
and changing environment
● Understanding of Supply chain
● Proficient with data analysis and able to present facts based on statistics and numbers
● Proficient with data visualization tools such as Tableau
● Understanding of process optimization
● Proven verbal and written communication skills and ability to present work
● Ability and aptitude for analyzing problems through effective listening to provide solutions
in a time sensitive environment
Nice to have:
● Experience with requests for proposals
● Knowledge of automotive supply chain operations
● Understanding of sourcing, purchasing
● Participation in supply chain programs geared towards sourcing and procurement
Education:
● Field(s) of study: Supply Chain, or related fields
● Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited
university.
● Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD)
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $26 - $38 per hour.
