We are seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee engagement teams and provide audit and assurance services across various sectors, including for-profit, not-for-profit, credit unions, and employee benefit practices. While a CPA designation is preferred, it is not mandatory. Candidates with industry or controller experience interested in transitioning to public accounting are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan audit objectives and develop audit strategies.
- Establish expectations for the audit team and manage engagement budgets.
- Lead multiple audit engagements while managing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Identify accounting and audit risks following US GAAS and US GAAP standards.
- Oversee all engagement fieldwork to ensure quality service and timely delivery.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to client engagements, including staffing and maintaining profitability.
- Train and mentor audit staff, support client service, and contribute to practice development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business field.
- CPA certification or CPA exam candidate.
- 5 years of financial audit experience in a CPA firm.
- Proven success in leading teams and mentoring audit staff on engagements.
- Working knowledge of ProSystem Engagement and other audit software is a plus.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to research complex audit issues.
- Excellent communication skills and experience managing client relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools and applications.
Salary : $75 - $95
