Central Vermont Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Clinical Role :
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible psychiatric nurse practitioner
Must have post training experience in psychiatric or substance abuse (willing to consider RN experience)
Need is ASAP
X-Waiver a plus, not required
Work schedule : Monday- Friday, 8 : 00 am - 4 : 30 pm
Patient Census : 20-25 patients per day
Outpatient Clinic Setting
Provide medication evaluation and management, with ongoing monitoring
Conduct clinical evaluations and physical health screenings, refer out as needed
Provide MAT services; prescribe medications for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD)
Order and interpret lab testing
Diagnose medical conditions and illnesses
Promote total body health through education patients and families
Rotating Call
Lead role on an interdisciplinary team; work to build a program with decision making and implementing processes
Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and protocols
Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
