Position Description:
Canadian Solar Inc. is seeking an experienced O&M Field Technician for its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Division. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical/mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting techniques, and organizational skills to drive project uptime and production targets.
Responsibilities Include:
- Understanding production targets and executing plans to meet them.
- Following maintenance schedules and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Navigating CMMS systems for work orders and administrative records.
- Identifying potential problems and suggesting corrective actions.
- Collaborating with the maintenance team and sub-contractors to improve system performance and reduce costs.
- Assisting with project commissioning and testing.
- Participating in safety and environmental trainings.
- Overseeing sub-contractors.
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety policies.
- Completing additional duties as needed.
