The Director of Project Management is responsible for leading multiple concurrent projects throughout the full lifecycle from initiation through completion and handover to operations. This position requires experience in the metals recycling space, preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for managing multiple simultaneous projects in multiple locations; each project with a value of $50K to $10M at various stages of conception, design and build.
- Complete responsibility for managing full lifecycle of project, including permitting; environmental review, design and engineering, budgeting, scheduling, contract bidding and negotiation, site preparation, construction, testing and quality assurance, inspection and handover to operations.
- Hands-on, onsite management of electrical, metal fabrication, control systems, concrete, engineering, environmental, welding and general construction and other contractors required to complete project activities.
- Responsible for managing employee and contractor safety programs on construction and hard surfacing projects. Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during design and build phases.
