A day in the life:
As a System Administrator, you will work on a fast-paced team providing support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems for critical enterprise applications. You will manage the IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems, and provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all the client, server, storage, network devices, etc.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Provide Tier 1/2 level problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems
- Install and load operating system software
- Configures network components along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance
What you bring to the table:
- 10 years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope and complexity
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline from an accredited institution or five (5) additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Familiarity with PowerShell and Bash scripting languages
- Experience with system hardening
- Experience working closely with ISSOs for system compliance
- Must be DoD 8570 compliant - IAT Level I
- A TS/SCI with Polygraph is required
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with Big Fix
- An understanding of Ansible
The total package:
- Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. - Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000.
