Position Overview:
The receptionist is often the first and last impression clients have of our hospital. We're looking for someone who is confident, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys connecting with others.
Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Answering phone calls with professionalism and care: providing information, screening calls, and scheduling appointments
- Delivering outstanding service to every client: greeting visitors, answering questions, checking in/out patients, and processing payments
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts
- Handling daily financial tasks, including processing payments and preparing bank deposits
- Keeping the lobby and front desk area clean, organized, and inviting
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail and administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- A confident, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Friendly and team-oriented with a professional demeanor
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a busy setting
- Compassionate and understanding with both animals and people
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning veterinary-specific software
- Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred
- Availability for both part-time and full-time shifts
