Job Description
IMPLEMENT OUR STREATEGY WITH DISTRIBUTORS
Develop communication process to ensure understanding of strategies, projects and targets
Lead the execution of our annual business plan through distributors
Cultivate relationships with important distribution management partners to implement business plans and promote goals
BUSINESS PLAN
Deliver clear planning strategy and provide all necessary planning tools to support your team on resource needs, distribution, volume, investments, and goals
Partner with Distributor Partner Manager (DPM) and DP on annual business plan development
Develop and highlight important customer opportunities to close SKU and Distribution voids to ensure optimum assortment Is available to local distributors
Lead Identification and acquisition strategy for prioritized Incremental foodservice operator targets within the region
DISTRIBUTOR STRUCTURE AND ACCOUNTABILITY EXPERT
Work in the field with broader On-Premise Region team to develop successful programs, relationships, and collaboration internally and with distributor sales personnel
Highlight opportunities and develop curated targets for ONP blitzes and sales Interactions
Maintain working knowledge of distributor’s internal systems and structure
Understand distributor’s hierarchy and have relationship from the top-down (from owner to sales representative)
GO-TO-MARKET STRATEGY
Establish communication schedule for National On Premise Account mandates/LTOs, VIP Program status and Pricing agreement.
Ensure DPs implement tracking system to monitor progress against targets
Lead internal On Premise foodservice strategy for the region, through Broker management, and distributor partner management
Coordinate local food shows
BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
Develop an understanding of responsible market and its characteristics, and support DP with relevant insights
Maintain working knowledge of all Red Bull and distributor/branch systems
Analyze monthly reports to find largest areas of opportunity for DP, and use those insights to guide DP to enhance market conditions
Manage internal budgets
Forecast volume per distributor location according to national volume goals set by HQ
Perform audits to ensure VIP program compliance and return on investment
Hold DPs accountable for data submission into MSA and track daily/weekly submissions to ensure accurate information
DISTRIBUTOR TRAINING
Lead team-based training programs to develop and support the DP sales team
Provide individual coaching of your work force (e.g. Brand Managers, Account Development Managers, and DP sales team)
Lead onboarding of Region Sales specialists on RTM ways of working and processes.
MISCELLANEOUS
Wire with responsible National On Premise Franchise groups and regional chains
Share and enforce guidelines with regards to our inventory policy
Develop expertise with regards to product competition and distributor/branch competition in respective area
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Consumer Product Goods industry
4+ years’ experience leading teams and working with vendors
Distributor, Supplier, or Broadline experience
On Premise industry experience.
Experience managing back end financial planning systems and budgets
Negotiation experience
Experience implementing successful sales and trade marketing strategies
Valid Driver’s License
Bachelor’s Degree required
Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
Salary : $67,000 - $96,000
