Company Description
You will assume responsibility and ownership of the F1 & Circuit Racing Motorsports area within the RBNA portfolio and support the Director of 4 Wheel Motorsports in running the F1 & Circuit Racing program.
The Sr. Manager – F1 & Circuit Racing develops and executes the strategy of our national motorsports program. The development and understanding of the motorsports marketing plans of our regional teams is an important part of the role and you are expected to contribute to the creation process to develop RBNA and global aligned related motorsports projects.
As part of this role, the Sr. Manager serves as main connection point to other internal departments (Sports, Brand, Legal, RBMN) and region teams for all F1 & Circuit Racing related matters, making sure our approach is aligned with all key stakeholders within the company and main RBNA POC for the F1 entities Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Alpha Tauri.
Furthermore, the Sr. Manager will build and maximize a network in the sport (athletes, teams, commercial rights holders) and manage the partnership portfolio to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of our programs.
Also, the Motor Sports Marketing Manager’s responsibility is to ideate and bring to life ideas, identify new tactics and playgrounds, cross-marketing solutions and business opportunities to continue growing Red Bull’s brand awareness and promote the image of the brand and its perception in the USA to grow the user base. The MMM fosters collaborations between RBNA Communications, Interactive Marketing, Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing, the Red Bull Media House, Athletes and Events Marketing. The MMM will support the Regional Marketing Teams with the best activation support and expectation setting to use the RBNA Motor Sports properties.
Job Description
IMPLEMENT NATIONAL MOTORSPORTS STRATEGIC VISION
Set clear measurable targets for assigned initiatives
Create project briefs, set targets and conduct holistic re-cap sessions
Manage assigned Motor Sports properties and projects (full responsibility for the quality of the execution and outcome)
Deliver complete evaluation against RBNA consumer targets
Develop operations and logistics timelines for events/projects
POC for daily business exchange with Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Alpha Tauri Organize and lead planning meetings and incorporate into project plan (org chart, workflow, production, competition, and live show)
Hire and manage production companies, agencies, sub-contractors, vendors, staff for the assigned projects and programs (3rd party)
Support the National BU network and Regional Marketing Teams to ensure full 360 leverage of relevant Motor Sports properties and assets and top-level execution against Red Bull’s brand standards
Budget management and accountability
STRATEGIC PLANNING
Contribute to ideation, development and creation process of Red Bullish motorsports projects & assets on national regional level
Establish Marketing and activation programs and initiatives for Natl. MS properties
Identify ways to expand RBNA’s Motor Sports program to reach new consumers
Keep a pulse on all consumer, sports, sales insights related to Motor Sports
Develop US tactics based on consumer insights following our global strategy
Identify opportunities with new upcoming athletes and teams
Lead collaboration across all Santa Monica departments to maximize the outcome
Maintain global brand standards on all branding and hospitality materials
Constant communication/updates on important initiatives
MAXIMIZE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Identify new brand partners to grow 1) brand awareness and 2) create revenue according to RBNA’s Partnership Team on following criteria
Brand fit, credibility in space and value
Extend reach and impact on targeted consumers
Create additional revenue to off-set the actual budget (targets assigned on a project basis linked to natl. revenue targets)
Establish and use network with sanctioning bodies and race/event organizers to seek cross-marketing opportunities
STANDARD SETTING
Define and set clear event execution and branding standards with our global strategy
Provide the field with the tools needed to implement events – including the delivery of proprietary apps, guidelines, manuals and workshops
Create excellence in all execution
Define and communicate roles and responsibilities in detail
Use provided reporting tools to gather and share information
Negotiate contracts including deliverables and performance targets with athletes/teams.
KEY RESULTS & DELIVERABLES (WHAT SUCCESS IS)
Develop US Motor Sports strategy and planning within the respective assigned areas, based on Red Bull's global Motor Sports strategy and RBNA's business objectives.
Set clear standards, guidelines, tools, ideas, and practices for field organization
Execute Global and National MS events/projects that are standard setting the best and deliver ROI targets
Maximize the Natl. and Intl. Athletes portfolio
Cooperation with BU's, Athletes Marketing, Event Marketing, Communications, and Interactive Departments to completely use Red Bull Motor Sports teams and programs in the US.
Extend Red Bull's brand reach
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years Marketing experience
3 years relevant experience in event, project, team coordination and budget management
Experience with the U.S. Motorsports landscape project management and the ability to find creative and unique solutions for project execution.
Knowledge of the Motorsports landscape and their respective scenes, on a regional, national and global level
Experience managing budgets - $1MM
Contract and negotiation skills - constructing, reviewing and negotiating the most advantageous agreements with external partners and athletes
Experience with relevant distribution outlets (all communication channels)
Coach with the ability to foster meaningful dialogue and gain buy-in
Plan and project management competencies, including budget management skills
Cultivate a team working environment incl.
Creative mind with experience putting new ideas into practice and assessing results
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage

The base salary range for this position is 101,365 to 112,035 cash incentives
Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience.
