Job Title: DoD Portfolio Manager & Program Manager
Location: U.S Army Ft. Knox KY (hybrid)
The candidate needs to have an Active Secret Clearance
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The DoD Portfolio Manager will be responsible for oversight and growth of RCC's DoD Program Portfolio including active programs with US Army, US Air Force, and US Navy. This position will also have Program Manager responsibilities for a Program with the US Army.
DoD Portfolio Manager Responsibilities
- Leads a team of Project and Program Managers for RCC's DoD Program.
- Oversees DoD Programs financials and profitability.
- Oversees Programs customer satisfaction and works with Program Managers to ensure Excellent CPARs
- Works with CEO and Growth Organization to set and execute RCC DoD growth plans and targets.
- Works with Technology and Innovation Team to set DoD technology growth plans.
Program Manager Responsibilities
- Project Management Professional certification required.
- Demonstrated excellence in planning, directing, and managing complex DoD software development/sustainment/modernization projects with more than 30 staff
- Working knowledge and experience administering and managing multiple IT simultaneous projects within a program.
- Successful management and supervision of employees of various assignments and skillsets.
- Technical and management leadership of task compliance with industry accepted Government and civilian and user standards.
- Knowledge of configuration management and quality assurance concepts and guidelines. For example: Agile (Scrum, SAFe, etc), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
- Knowledge of DoD standard 5015.02, 1336.08, & 5105.63.
- Knowledge of help desk support and operation.
- Knowledge of overall DoD contracts administration.
- They shall bring at least five (5) years of Program Management experience with teams of at least 30 people.
Program Manager Qualifications/Position Requirements
- Experience with customer engagement with senior/executive level Armed Forces customers.
- Experience Agile Scrum or SAFe and other project management methodologies, demonstrating the ability to effectively apply them to project execution.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including the use of CI/CD, to facilitate efficient project management and streamline development processes.
- Experience managing programs responsible for sustainment and modernization, mission critical applications
- Experience managing programs responsible for sustainment and modernization, help desk, training for mission critical applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with project stakeholders, team members, and other relevant parties.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, showcasing efficient project management capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Technical or Business field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
