About the Role:
The eCommerce Partnership Manager will report directly to the Head of Technology. As an experienced, skilled, and motivated eCommerce Partnership Manager, you are the conduit between our technology, the brand, and eCommerce technology providers. In this role, you will lead the effort to build and maintain strong technology partnerships, developing and growing relationships and integrations. You will also be responsible for creating and enhancing internal processes while working directly with our sales and brands. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the customer experience as you strategize, provide, and communicate effective solutions to both sales teams and existing or prospective clients.

The ideal candidate for the eCommerce Partnership Manager role should be experienced, skilled, and highly motivated. They will serve as the bridge between our technology, the brand, and eCommerce technology providers. This candidate will excel at building and maintaining strong technology partnerships, nurturing relationships, and driving integrations. They should be adept at creating and enhancing internal processes while collaborating directly with our sales teams and brands. With a focus on improving the customer experience, the candidate will strategically communicate and deliver effective solutions to both sales teams and clients, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and cultivate relationships with technology partners, serving as an expert in directly connecting or integrating eCommerce brands with APC’s delivery and technology solutions.
- Act as a customer-facing expert for clients integrating APC technologies with major eCommerce platforms, including third-party logistics (3PL) systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping software providers, shopping cart technologies, and final mile carriers. This includes, but is not limited to, generating shipping labels, data transmission, fetching shipping rates, and providing package tracking updates.
- Develop and execute partnership strategies to drive product adoption, engagement and satisfaction.
- Provide technical guidance and support to ensure smooth and reliable connections during onboarding and ongoing maintenance.
- Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills to effectively manage multiple partnerships and deadlines.
- Continuously stay updated on eCommerce technology trends to inform future strategies and technology builds.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- 5 years in an eCommerce partnership or technology development role, with a focus on the eCommerce vertical, specifically in technology, logistics, or shipping.
- Proactive communicator with a proven track record of excellence in internal communications with business and technical stakeholders, as well as external communications with partners, support representatives, and engineers.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and cloud-based 3PL software.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and guide clients through integration processes.
- Familiarity with shipping carrier services, including USPS, FedEx, DHL, UPS, and others.
- Proven success in building and maintaining business relationships with a strong focus on customer-centricity.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Strong internal, external verbal and written communication abilities.
- Keen to learn and adapt to new challenges and emerging technologies.
Physical Requirements:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5-10 pounds from a floor position to an over the head position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, verbally communicate, and perform intricate finger dexterity to type or manipulate electronic documents while speaking or listening.
