This role is responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring invoice accuracy, maintaining customer accounts, and resolving billing issues. Responsibilities
- Generate, review, and process invoices accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
- Maintain and update customer billing records.
- Prepare and distribute billing drafts for management review.
- Work closely with Operations, Collections, Contracting/Budgeting, and Customer Service teams to resolve billing concerns.
- Generate and distribute customer consolidated invoices
- Resolve customer billing errors, revise and re-issue errant invoices, ensure the system is updated and configured to prevent the error from rolling forward to the next month and future billing cycles
Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Required Experience: Must have 1 year or more of billing experience using the Infor Service Management (ISM) ERP
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve billing issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive financial and customer information with discretion.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Bethesda, MD 20814 before starting the position.
