Position Overview:

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to the construction and development of residential projects. This role involves ensuring that projects are executed according to plans, timelines, and quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Project Manager works closely with construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to achieve successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

- Coordinate and manage the daily operations of residential construction projects.

- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

- Collaborate with project managers to plan and execute construction activities effectively.

2. Supervision and Leadership:

- Lead, direct, and supervise on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and laborers.

- Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

- Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong work ethic.

3. Quality Control:

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship, materials, and construction practices meet quality standards and specifications.

- Identify and address any deviations from plans or potential issues promptly.

- Implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality outcomes.

4. Safety and Compliance:

- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, regulations, and industry best practices.

- Conduct safety meetings, trainings, and audits to minimize accidents and promote a safe work environment.

- Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

5. Communication:

- Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and subcontractors.

- Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and issue resolutions.

- Address any concerns or disputes in a timely and professional manner.

6. Materials and Resource Management:

- Coordinate and monitor the procurement and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and supplies.

- Optimize resource allocation to minimize waste and maximize productivity.

- Manage inventory and track usage of materials to ensure cost-effective operations.

7. Documentation:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including work orders, change orders, and daily logs.

- Generate detailed reports on project progress, delays, and budgetary issues.

8. Problem Solving:

- Identify and address construction-related challenges and obstacles before they cause delays.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and implement changes as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or related field is a plus.

- Proven experience as a site supervisor or similar role in residential construction.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.

- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.

- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.

- Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Physical fitness and stamina for working on construction sites.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of residential construction projects by overseeing all aspects of on-site activities, fostering a safe and productive work environment, and delivering high-quality results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
