The Purchasing Administrative Assistant creates and maintains coordination between vendors, buyers and other team members throughout the organization. This position requires strong analytical and math skills, organizational skills and the ability to create and maintain strong vendor relations. This is a purchasing administration role, purchasing experience is preferred but not required.
Detailed Job Responsibilities
- Manage inbox
- Responsible for coordinating vendor RFIs
- Follow up on missing material
- Review and reconcile invoicing and order acknowledgement discrepancies
- Run and review weekly reports, maintain PWIP report
- Daily delivery calls to confirm and receive material
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
