The Ecosystem Incentive Program Lead will manage the design, development, and execution of the strategic partner incentive program, encompassing custom growth incentives (CGI), lifecycle incentives, and programs that drive royalty-based business. This role supports the full range of routes to market and adapts to evolving partner requirements. You will lead efforts in prioritizing funds and partners, ensuring effective governance, ROI tracking, and performance reviews across these partner initiatives programs. Additionally, the role will guide the execution of lifecycle incentives, collaborate on activity management, and ensure continuous alignment with the CGI business plan, which includes objectives for technical specialization, solution creation, and measurable business goals (e.g., activities, deal registration goals, etc.).
The Ecosystem Incentive Program Lead will oversee the Incentives program lifecycle for the programs they manage, ensuring each initiative aligns with Red Hat's strategic goals, contributes to long-term revenue growth and partner success, and meets legal and compliance requirements. This position will require deep collaboration with global partners, internal teams, and stakeholders to design scalable solutions that drive performance and optimize the partner experience.
What you will do:
Incentives Program Design and Execution:
  • Lead the design and execution of partner incentive programs, focusing on custom growth initiatives with our distributors, lifecycle incentives with our influencing partners, and OEM & Cloud Incentive programs that drive our royalty-based business.
  • Oversee the development of tailored incentive plans for partners, ensuring alignment with Red Hat's objectives and market opportunities.
  • Coordinate with PAMs and partners to implement growth strategies, with a focus on driving incremental revenue and expanding capability.
  • Guide the identification and prioritization of high-potential partners, ensuring targeted program participation.
Governance and Performance Tracking:
  • Ensure proper governance of the program, with oversight on prioritizing funds, tracking performance, and ensuring compliance with all agreed terms.
  • Manage quarterly reviews with GEO and Route leaders to assess partner performance against predefined milestones (e.g., revenue growth, deal registration).
  • Track and assess partner progress against key performance indicators (KPIs), such as bookings growth, new logo acquisition, and other business objectives.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Support:
  • Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, sales operations) to ensure proper revenue validation, compliance, and administration of performance-based payments.
  • Work closely with legal teams to manage contract amendments, terminations, and adherence to program guidelines.
  • Partner with global and regional teams to standardize reporting tools, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms to ensure consistent and clear communication of partner status.
Lifecycle Incentives and Activity Management:
  • Lead the design and execution of lifecycle incentives, ensuring alignment with program goals and partner growth strategies.
  • Ensure that partner activity is tracked, managed, and executed effectively, leveraging robust activity management systems to maintain visibility and accountability.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive and accessible records of contracts, performance reports, and review documentation.
  • Regularly submit partner activity reports, compliance updates, and progress toward meeting performance targets.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the program’s reporting tools, templates, and training resources to ensure efficiency and clarity.
Program Management:
  • Serve as the primary programmatic point of contact for Ecosystem, guiding Partner Account Managers through the incentive program processes and ensuring they have the necessary resources to help their partners achieve their growth targets.
  • Provide ongoing support in service to our partners, addressing concerns and removing roadblocks to facilitate smooth execution of growth plans.
What you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in program management, sales operations, or partner management with a strong understanding of incentive structures and partner lifecycle management.
  • Experience in managing and executing complex incentive programs, with a focus on both financial performance and business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and performance tracking.
  • Proven ability to create and implement processes that streamline partner engagements and improve overall program effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with compliance and legal aspects of partner agreements, sales, and incentives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex program details to diverse stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally and globally, ensuring alignment across teams and geographies.
The salary range for this position is $120,720.00 - $199,120.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
