What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager - Programs Activity and Points Lead position at Red Hat, Inc.?
As the Program Manager for Partner Programs, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive program activities tailored to different partner types within our ecosystem. You will work closely with Partner Account Managers (PAMs), distribution partners, and internal teams to ensure effective go-to-market strategies and execution. Your role will be pivotal in scaling our processes, measuring partner engagement, and providing insightful recommendations based on activity data.
What you will do:
Partner Program Architecture:
- Design and implement program activities that cater to the diverse needs of Red Hat's partner types.
- Develop and refine go-to-market strategies in collaboration with PAMs and distribution partners.
Process Design and Scaling:
- Create scalable processes for activity point management that incorporate innovative measurement techniques.
- Ensure the availability of dashboards and resources to facilitate effective program execution.
Collaboration Across Teams:
- Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Enablement, Operations, and Geo PAMs to align strategies and initiatives.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders to drive program success.
Data Analysis and Recommendations:
- Analyze activity point data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for program adjustments.
- Understand the downstream benefits and consequences of program changes and communicate findings effectively.
Success Partner Planning Improvement:
- Enhance the Success Partner Planning process, tools, and enablement to reflect the unique characteristics of partner types.
- Implement effective measurement and reporting mechanisms to track partner success.
Partner Enablement Alignment:
- Collaborate with the Partner Enablement organization to align training offerings and PRM activities.
- Design and innovate programmatic approaches to ensure partners are well-informed about Red Hat offerings and are equipped to succeed.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in program management, preferably within partner ecosystems or channel management.
- Expertise in Red Hat partner types and go-to-market strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working cross-functionally.
- Creative problem-solver with a focus on process improvement and scalability.
- Familiarity with partner enablement tools and training methodologies is a plus.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
