As a Program Manager, Partner Success Planning, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the partner engagement experience at Red Hat. This role involves managing the Red Hat Partner Success Planning process, a key framework used by partner account managers to develop and execute strategic plans with partners. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, tooling teams to ensure simple, easy integrated tooling implementation, sales and ecosystem operations to drive integration with customer account planning, and the geo teams to ensure successful operational execution and adoption as well as continuous improvement. Your expertise in the key aspects of partner success as well as automation tools will support scalable and efficient sales practices, directly influencing how Red Hat builds and sustains successful partnerships.
What you will do:
Partner Success Planning Strategy and Governance
- Develop, refine, and execute the Partner Success Planning strategy, aligning with Red Hat’s broader partner engagement goals.
- Define, document, and ensure governance and adherence to Partner Success Planning standards across all geographies, tailoring approaches to meet regional requirements while maintaining global consistency.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, implement and enforce best practices and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
- Deliver wide scale global adoption of the process and ensure the insights from partner success plans are acted upon and deliver measurable business results.
Continuous Improvement of Tooling and Automation
- Define, implement, and maintain tooling and process enhancements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of Partner Success Planning.
- Partner with technical teams and external vendors to maintain a roadmap for continuous improvement, ensuring tools meet evolving business needs.
- Leverage tools like People.ai and Salesforce to automate and streamline sales practices, ensuring scalability and efficiency in partner engagement.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in automation to proactively recommend and implement new solutions.
Alignment with Revenue Operations and Account Planning
- Work closely with operations and tooling teams to ensure alignment between customer account planning and Partner Success Planning processes.
- Collaborate on tool integration, data sharing, and reporting to create a unified approach to sales and partner strategy.
- Ensure that data and insights from Partner Success Planning are effectively incorporated into broader account planning efforts.
Partner Account Manager Enablement
- Collaborate with the sales enablement team to create and deliver training materials for partner account managers.
- Educate teams on how to effectively utilize Partner Success Planning tools and frameworks to drive strategic objectives.
- Provide tailored training for sales leadership to foster adoption and consistent use of the process across their teams.
Data Analysis and Insights
- Track usage and adoption of Partner Success Planning tools and processes, collecting data to measure effectiveness and compliance across geographies.
- Analyze partner success plans to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and generate actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Use the insights to drive greater adoption and effectiveness across the global ecosystem team.
- Provide regular reports to leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations to optimize the partner engagement strategy.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement
- Work closely with partner account managers, sales leaders, operations, tooling, and other cross-functional teams to gather feedback and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Engage with executives and key partners to get first hand insight, address their needs and ensure the Partner Success Planning framework drives meaningful outcomes.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in partner program management, sales operations, or partner management, including governance and process standardization across geographies.
- Experience in implementing and optimizing tools like People.ai and Salesforce to automate and improve sales practices.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing scalable processes that improve efficiency and reduce friction in partner engagements.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of managing complex processes.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive insights and decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with compliance and legal considerations related to sales, partnerships, and strategic planning.
- Strong collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
