Bookkeeper

Red Horse Market is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and maintaining the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, is proficient in financial software like Quickbooks and excels at managing accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to verify financial data.
• Utilize Quickbooks and other financial software for bookkeeping and reporting.
• Implement double-entry bookkeeping principles to maintain compliance.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and assist in budgeting.
• Process payroll and ensure timely tax filings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support financial operations and decision-making.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5 Years experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, account reconciliation, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, ADP Payroll and other accounting tools.
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and financial principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
