Red Horse Market is looking for passionate and dedicated Salad Bar Associates to join our team. As a Salad Bar Associate, you will play a vital role in preparing, stocking, and maintaining our fresh, high-quality salad bar.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the salad bar, ensuring all items meet quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
- Monitor food levels and replenish items promptly to ensure product availability.
- Assist customers by providing product knowledge, including flavors, ingredients
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and catering teams to prepare platters and to go items
- Provide outstanding customer service.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a kitchen, food service, or food preparation role.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to assess food quality and freshness while efficiently preparing large batches.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to take direction and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Willingness to learn about our products and offer knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Monitor inventory of all products including dressings and produce.
