What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Red Hospitality & Leisure Key West Llc?
This role is key to supporting REDs growth strategy. Responsibilities will include aggregating and analyzing financial data, preparing budgets/forecasts, participation in acquisition analysis and due diligence, and ad-hoc projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of various types of financial models to value new business lines and opportunities (organic growth) as well as acquisitions (inorganic growth)
- Build financial summaries including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Ability to take a large amount of data and analysis and convert into a concise presentation to inform executives
- Analyze and monitor debt metrics including payment terms, financial covenants, and other restrictions
- Develop recommendations re: organic growth opportunities, acquisitions, and valuations
- Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the deal process including One-Pager deal summaries and management presentations
- Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions
- Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting/Business
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a finance or business background, particularly on the quantitative side
- Independent thinker and resourceful problem solver driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principals
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes
- Strong financial modeling skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
