What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Supervisor position at Red Ledges Golf Club?
Pool Supervisors are excited to be outside working at our beautiful Red Ledges pools and engaging with people! They help lead an awesome, dedicated team of 20-30 Pool Attendants. They act as a role model by setting the leadership tone with a solid work ethic and a can-do attitude. The team provides enjoyable, memorable experiences for our members and their families at the pools. They are friendly and caring people that go out of their way to help others while living the Red Ledges Culture.
The three areas of work are: the Village Center Pool and Grill, Clubhouse Pool, and the Golf Comfort stations. The Village Center includes a massive resort-style pool; two hot tubs; 3-story water slide; kid’s water features and playground; corn hole, ping pong and giant checkers; outstanding bar and grill, locker rooms, and a 300-person pool lounge deck with three covered cabanas, and an upper deck covered eating lounge. This all sits perfectly next to our golf park, directly facing the majestic Mt. Timpanogos. The Clubhouse Pool is a more relaxed environment with one pool and hot tub, and a permanent food truck which sits comfortably behind the golf simulator building. This deck provides a relaxing, more serene lounge environment which contrasts the Village Center ambiance. The golf comfort stations are located on the main golf course. We have two different locations which snacks, refreshments and restrooms are provided at no cost to our golfers.

Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Training staff on all pool procedures and to be equipped to handle daily tasks
- Lead daily staff schedules covering import information for opening, midday and closing of pools, grill and golf stations
- Assist members and guest with request or challenges
- Support the Pool Mangers with various tasks as needed
- Greet members upon arrival
- Assist with towels and lounge chairs
- Serve food and refreshments
- Maintain the cleanliness of the pool areas
- Maintain excel sheets
- Keep attendants busy and on task
- Help staff maintain pool rules and procedures with members impeccably
Qualifications
- Eager to lead and make a difference every day
- Must be energetic and outgoing
- Customer service /Hospitality experience
- Good rapport with members and staff
- Flexible schedule, including opening and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
- High School Diploma
Working Conditions
- This position requires working outdoors in a pool environment in various weather climates and workload conditions.
- Flexibility in scheduling is necessary including the ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 30 pounds.
- Patient and consistent with teaching high school to college aged staff valuable work ethics and experiences.
