Job Title: Pool Complex Supervisor
Reports To: Director of Housekeeping
Wage: $25/hr (OT eligible)
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week, including weekends
Job Summary
The Pool Complex Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pool deck programming and poolside food and beverage services. This role ensures guests receive outstanding service, the pool area remains well-maintained, and team members are effectively managed and motivated. Working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager, the Supervisor upholds company standards and procedures while coordinating multiple operational aspects of the pool complex.
Essential Job Functions

Staff Supervision & Training:
- Supervise, train, and schedule pool attendants to deliver high-quality, efficient service.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance team performance.

Guest Service:
- Ensure guests receive prompt, professional, and courteous service.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly.

Operational Oversight:
- Maintain a visible presence in the pool area to guarantee guest satisfaction and operational standards.
- Ensure the pool area is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.

Food & Beverage Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with 1886 Grill staff to ensure timely and efficient food order delivery.

Inventory & Budget Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate supply orders with the Food and Beverage Manager.
- Assist in budget management and cost control initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee retail sales and COS operations in the Towel Hut.
- Complete opening and closing checklists and manage entry gate coordination with hotel guests and social members.
- Develop weekly schedules in line with hotel forecasts.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in food and beverage or recreation services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage stressful situations calmly.
- Well-organized with strong multitasking skills.

Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
