SEEKING FULL TIME FRONT DESK COORDINATOR FOR AUDIOLOGY PRACTICE
Thriving Audiology practice looking for a mature, charismatic, reliable medical office front desk/referral coordinator. JOB DESCRIPTION
Answering phone calls & scheduling appointments according to practice guidelines
Reviewing/entering incoming patient referrals & scheduling new patient appointments
Requesting new referrals for established patients
Greeting patients as they enter the office
Accessing records through cloud-based electronic medical records
Checking patients in/out
Processing patient payments
Confirming appointments / appointment reminder calls
Collecting insurance information
Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and relevant state and federal guidelines
Organizing front office, including filing, receiving and distributing mail and parcels, tracking and reporting practice statistics
Supporting the Audiologists and other office team members with their duties as delegated (and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations)
Participating in company and office meetings and training programs as required
Light housekeeping around the office, including taking out trash, restocking supplies, and wiping down surfaces, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Customer service experience in a medical setting, hospitality or spa environment
High school diploma required, some continuing education preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare procedures, and insurance practices
Ability to pass background check
