Summary:
Responsible for providing dining service to all guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner, displaying a high standard of customer services.
Essential Duties:
- Delivers prompt, efficient, and courteous service to customers in accordance with Red Mile standards.
- Performs necessary tasks to service customers, i.e., taking and filling all food and drink orders and assisting in maintaining guests dining area in a clean and neat manner.
- Receives payment from food and beverage customers in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Utilizes POS system, quotes accurate pricing and gives correct change, accounts for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedures.
- Assists other restaurant personnel with maintenance (side work, opening/closing duties) as necessary.
- Adheres to established cash control policies and procedures.
Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):
- High school or G.E.D preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, enjoy and create a team environment.
- Must be able to communicate in English; Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
- Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays, as well as flexible shifts and hours due to business needs.
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills; position requires constant interaction with customers.
Physical Requirements:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs., while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.
