Private Counseling Practice seeking two more licensed therapists to add to the team!
Red Oak Counseling Services offers a special and impactful position for interested candidates. We are family run and dedicated to quality client care, while also placing top priority on clinician work/life balance! We believe psychotherapy is most effective when both clinician and client are well cared for and given the time and tools they need to provide services/receive care. This is a unique position as you are free to offer cash pay as well as decide on paneling services for selected insurance companies. You will receive your own office and access to our marketing/advertising. You can set your own hours- evenings and weekends included.
Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Independent Social Workers (LISW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential therapeutic services to clients, focusing on their mental health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client assessments.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Diagnostic expertise related to the DSM-5 TR
- Provide mental health assessments, evaluations, and interventions
- Stay informed about best practices in clinical counseling and social work.
- Be committed to the professional and ethical standards of your licensing board
Skills
- Proficiency in therapy techniques, particularly in clinical counseling settings.
- Strong understanding of the population you provide services to
- Knowledge of case management processes and patient care strategies.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in practice.
