Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Red River Waterway Commission. In this role, you will provide critical support to the Executive Director and other office personnel with a variety of administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and maintain accurate records
- Prepare legal documents, including lease agreements and bid packets
- Maintain lists of active contracts and update monthly contract status reports
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to telephone inquiries from the public
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Legal secretary or paralegal certification preferred
- Basic bookkeeping/accounting skills preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
