This role involves leading the software development team to perform, plan deliverables, and help teams monitor software performance. The Software Development Lead will also play a critical role in resolving customer complaints. This position requires up to 25% travel in and around the Maryland, Virginia, and DC area.Responsibilities : Acts as a technical expert in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or complex enhancements to existing software.Heads and coordinates a team of Software Developers on a particular project.Confers with technical staff to understand and develop resolution of software problems.Resolves customer complaints with software, and responds to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements.Aids in the training of less experienced software development staff. Instructs, directs, assigns tasks to, and monitors the performance of assigned Software Developers working on the project.Assists in the scheduling and coordinating of projects and participates in the design phase of the project.May participate in the development of software user manuals.Requirements : Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field or applicable work experience.Secret security clearance.Eight years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in the government sector.Lead software team in the production of efficient code specifications.Supervise the testing and development of software programs.Gather and analyze user feedback.Desired Certifications : AWS Certified Developer.Redhat Certified Engineer.As a Software Development Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, optimization, and availability of infrastructures and systems.
