Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation and related construction tasks. This role involves working with various flooring materials, ensuring high-quality installations that meet customer specifications and industry standards. The Flooring Installer will also be responsible for collaborating with other tradespeople on-site to achieve project goals efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install various types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and carpet, according to specifications and schematics.
- Perform cabinet installation and fixture installation as required by project needs.
- Conduct floor care activities, including buffing and maintenance of installed floors to ensure longevity and appearance.
- Assist in construction painting tasks as needed to complete projects effectively.
- Lay tiles accurately, ensuring proper alignment and adherence to design plans.
- Collaborate with team members to build a cohesive work environment focused on quality and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with cabinet installation, fixture installation, floor care techniques, construction painting, tile laying, and schematics is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
