Overview:

At Red Rocks Care Center, we are seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator who is dedicated to improving the lives of our patients and residents through high-quality care and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • The MDS Coordinator - RN is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the MDS treatment assessment tool.
  • This ensures compliance with our high standards of care, particularly in areas such as physical, cognitive, and socialization factors.
  • The coordinator also manages the overall process and tracking of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents to assure appropriate reimbursement for services provided within the nursing center.
  • Information from various departments, including nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services, is integrated to ensure accurate reimbursement.

Qualifications

  • A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing with current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
  • At least one year of long-term care nursing experience is necessary for this position.
