AR Coordinator- Recovery Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an AR Coordinator-Recovery Specialist at Red Rocks Community College. This role specializes in tracking and resolving past-due accounts, including reviewing unpaid balances prior to collection action, validating current collection accounts, and working with collection agencies.

Qualifications

• Ability to work from campus (primarily our Lakewood campus with occasional hours at the Arvada campus). 
• Excellent communication skills that are professional and responsive. 
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to present account information to individuals with logic and policy driven information.?
• Ability to create and keep deadlines while managing appointments and meetings. Detail oriented, organized, task-driven, and ability to think critically to problem solve. Intermediate to advanced skillset with spreadsheet (Excel), Access, and Microsoft Outlook. 
• Ability to learn new software systems and billing sites. 
• Ability to manage and manipulate large financial data sets.
• Maintains confidentiality of customer accounts and interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other closely related field. 
• Education Substitution: A combination of education and directly related technical/professional work experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Years of experience is in addition to any required years of experience for the position.
