Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
- Assist with billing inquiries and process payments accurately.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Conduct night audits as needed to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each day.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when answering calls and responding to guest inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk operations or guest services within a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles is an asset.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for effective guest interaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the hotel’s operational needs.
